Happy Bert's Day

This comes a day earlier. Advance Happy Birthday Bert!




My apologies to those who are appearing in the picture without their permission.
My apologies too, to those who would have wanted to appear but do not. It's because I did not find any picture of you holding a bottle, a glass or a cup. That's the theme of the e-card, a toast to bert, our celebrant.

You see, this is a wholesome blog. Unlike the popular graffiti written in the walls of the urinals during our high school and college days which says, "the future of this country depends on what you are holding right now".... or something like that.

Hi Bert,

This may come to you a day late but this greetings is full of good wishes for your birthday. Hopefully, you celebrated your special day with grandeur and gratitude for another milestone in your life. Belated Happy Birthday.

I remain grateful to Toti for keeping us posted in a lot of things especially our classmates birthdays and special event.

Liberian President William R. Tolbert Is Killed in Military Coup (1980)

Liberia was founded in the 1820s by former slaves from the US, and tensions between the Americo-Liberian minority and the indigenous majority have persisted since that time. Herbert Jeffrey "Herbie" Hancock (1940)

Hancock is a jazz and funk pianist, composer, and bandleader who emerged as part of Miles Davis's group in the mid-1960s.
