Hello, Danny,
let me guess, because when he was born, Tiger "roared" instead of cry? he.he.. sirit.. ano sagot?
by the way, he and his old pal are both residing in florida, di ba? wont be surprised if you occasionally bump into them in some of the fairways there. when you see them next, would you say say hi for me ( ..sabay ilag!)..
you should post some of your golf photos at the Now pics..(like what I did today, he..he.)..
Bert
Danny,
by 'old pal' , I mean "mark o'meara"..
cheers,
Bert

Bert,
Tiger's mom is a Thai (TI) and his dad is a---ger. Getz? Disclaimer: This is just because there is nothing you can say against Tiger. On 2004, we volunteered to act as scorer in the Bayhill Invitational. I was assigned in
the Leader Board 9 and of course, I can see practically everyone in the tournament. I spent 20 hours for a chance to play a round at Bayhill. But I think, Tagaytay Highlands and Midland is a better course and a hard one at that. Mahaba lang ang Bayhill. I really hope that we can play some golf there. I will send thru you a Now pic on a golf outfit . At least doon may sombrero ako. Hindi nila makikita na wala na palan akong buhok. Heh,heh.
Regards.

Hi Danny,
The Masters starts in 2-days. Aren't you headed for Augusta for another scoring stint? Tiger seems well tuned-up and sharp for this major. Are you betting on him,
or on the defending champ, Phil M?
cheers,
Bert
Bert,
Tiger's continuous winning is great for golf. This game will not be as popu;ar as it is now if not for him. I always root for him. He is half Asian too.
I hope we can play some golf sometime, either there or here.
Regards.
Danny

Danny
Danny,
While waiting for Ed's answer (ang tagal naman !) - may I venture a guess :
because the wife was able to tame wild tiger ? he..he..
Bert
Dan...
Have you seen her? Go figure...he, he, he.
Ed Canela
Sorry Bert...you got it...pero talagang maganda siya....Hugsssss

SORRY DANNY AND BERT,

Hi Danny,
yes, it's great to know we're at least two "PGA" members in the class.. i play at the Riviera Sun's. and Fri's. weather -and job- permitting.. it's abt an hour's drive from Makati. my current index is 18 but scores could easily swing between -14 and +24. crazy, 'no?
florida is a golfing haven, you must be playing there a lot. what's your handicap presently? we should play some rounds when you come in April, or if not, your next visit..
cheers,
Bert

Hi Bert,
Mine is 18 as well, and like you could swing between the same numbers as yours. Tagaytay Midland was very good to me. I shot 86 there. I'm really trying hard if I can take another 2 weeks off from my business. Kaya lang, medyo nahihiya ako sa mga kliyente ko, baka alisin na sa akin ang mga listings if they find out that I'm again out of the country. Anyway, if I can't make it this April, I'll make sure that next time I'm there, we will play some round of golf. How's that. And it will not take long time for that to happen. I enjoyed playing golf there a lot. You guys are so spoiled. How about you, when do you plan to come to the US? Try Florida. You have my e-mail address. We'll play lots of golf here. Regards to you and family.

Hi, Fechie,
I did hit some trees on a few occasions, but don't worry I didn't hit any of the caddies. Yes, earnestly looking forward to see you and all of you, gorgeous Fil-Am girls, in two weeks at Daet !.

Hi Bert,
Humihina na ang pick-up ko. Ayaw ko ng 18 u---, gusto ko 36 Um-----. Dalawang tag 18 heh, heh.
Danny
Danny,
by the way, how many hours drive is Miami Beach from Orlando?
Bert
April 18
Hi Bert,
Miami Beach is about 3 hours and 30 minutes drive from Orlando. Why, are you planning to go there? Just let me know and I take you there. My son is in Hollywood, Florida which is about 30 minutes away. Every other weekend, me and my wife drive down there. Miami Beach is a beautiful place. Many ultra rich families there. I did well at Midland. 86 .. I saw in the pictures that both you and your wife had a great time during the reunion.
It's now 9:30 am here and I'm going to the driving range to hit a bucket. I will be joining a tournament this coming Sunday sponsored by a Fil-Am group from Tampa. Yesterday afternoon, my drive were slicing. I need to do some adjustments. Perhaps my concentration is still at the pictures Toti sent.
Regards to you and your family.

it's still far far away, but our industry convention for '08 is set on mar 9-13 at miami beach's eden roc resort and spa. might attend, not yet 100pct sure though. will let you know. thanks.
if i match your 86..i’ll be a happy man, trophy or no trophy. (do you recall your caddy's name? he he)
midlands is always refreshing to play.
slicing- perhaps your body turn is ahead of the club head. im sure you can fix that easily. it happens to me too sometimes. as they always say, timing lang.
good luck sa tournament!

Hi Bert,
OK, I'll block my calendar for that period of 2008. Most of the time PAL has their Senior Tournament in Cagayan de Oro during the month of February. Since I'm qualified to join any Senior citizen tournament, I might, just might join in 2008. So if I do that, I will see you there before your March
convention here. The name of my caddie is Teri. She is bicolana, that's why I fix the slicing. Shoulder turn is the culprit. Anyway, you and your family is very much welcome at my place when you so decide to join that convention in 2008. We will make some plan when it happen. Regards.

Hi Bert,
At least there you can have um---girl. Mainit na din dito sa Florida. I belong to the golf club in the community where I live. Instead of using treadmill for exercise, I play at least nine holes just walking as much as possible everyday. I start at around 3 pm kaya nasa kainitan. Kaya sunog na sunog na rin ako. But that's the trade off of the enjoyment you get from golf. March is a good month to play golf here. Weather is just really nice. Not hot nor cold. I hope you can come to Florida on that convention you mentioned to me. We can play a lot of golf after your business commitments.
Regards to you and family.
Danny
Here's something for Bert and Danny, with apologies to Marie and Elizabeth:
Monogrammed Golf Balls
A man staggered into a hospital with a concussion, multiple bruises, two black eyes, and a five iron wrapped tightly around his throat.
Naturally, the Doctor asked him, "What happened to you?"
"Well, I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife, when at a difficult hole; we both sliced our balls into a cow pasture. We went to look for them and while I was looking around, I noticed one of the cows had something white at its rear end.
"I walked over, lifted its tail, and sure enough, there was a golf ball with my wife's monogram on it, stuck right in the middle of the cow's butt." Still holding the cow's tail up, I yelled to my wife, "Hey, this looks like yours!"
"I don't remember much after that..."

danny -
ka-gwapo naman ng dating mo nong long hair ka..kaya pala maraming kwento si ate marynat, tungkol sa dorm-mate nya he..he.
kahit maraming nalagas after your college days..that's no big deal, amigo, nao-offset yan sa galing pumalo.. when you start to consistently hit low 80's or better yet break 80's - hair
or no hair, macho ka!..he..he..
i read you've been playing a lot, you must have been enjoying perfect golfing weather in orlando.
here, it's still very hot although occasionally it starts to rain by 2 pm onwards..
so what we do is book a t-off at 530am on sundays and thursday, and finish by 10:30 or 11 am.. to avoid either the top of the noon time heat, or the afternoon drizzles.
grabe , i have to wake up at 4:00am to make the t-off time. daig pa namin ang mga magsasaka.. nag bubungkal na ng fairway bago sumikat ang dakilang araw. but to get your shoes wet by the morning dew and encounter the chirping of the early birds and smell some of the flowers, can make up for the lack of sleep.
well..well..well. you know these things..some of the odd things one does for golf.
enjoy your games today, tiger.
bert
Danny,
your golf course looks o.k...there seem to be some menacing lakes.
hope we can have a round there sometime next year.. meantime keep the pars coming !
Bert
Hi Bert,
You are right, that golf course Stoneybrook East is a challenging course. Definitely, we will play that course next year, that's a promise. It's only 15 minutes away from my house. Pagdating mo rito, "want to sawa " ang golf natin. Ako ang bahala sa iyo. Kaya make sure that you will attend that convention comes March 2008. At kung sakali na ang plano ni Men about February 2008 pushes through, then mauuna muna ang laro natin diyan bago dito sa Orlando. 'till next e-mail. Regards.
Danny
