Virginia tech massacre

To our US-based classmates,I hope you have no relatives, friends and acquaintances among the victims of the senseless killings in Virginia Tech. Take care, always.

Hi Toti,

Thanks for the concern. Fortunately, I don't know of any acquaintance or relative studying at VA Tech. Another black mark for Asian Americans.

Hi Toti,

Yes, this is the US's worst. My daughter stays in Roanoke, about 20 minutes from Blacksburg, Virginia where Virginia Tech is. I also have two former Nepali colleagues who teach is PhD in Organization Development (Dean, Entrepreneurship Curriculum) and another Phd in Mechanical
Engineering (Professor). They are all ok. Thanks God! But there is nothing wrong with being careful... Hugssssss to all.

Dear Toti,

Thank you so much for your concern. Like Ed said, this is the US's worst. Have a nephew and 3 first cousins who lives in Virginia. Fortunately, they are ok. Anyway, let's all pray for all the victims. Thank you and take care.
