Men
Wow Myrna….great! You got practically all, including the ones where you put the question marks…Wow…this is called memory power….there are minor glitches though? Ms Bermillo was not our Biology teacher…ours was a man, single and taught in the DPS for only one year…his location is now unknown…Vimar for Dr. No is correct (Fr. Sanchez and I saw the movie in that theatre, twice), the Loyalty Awardees are perfect, 9 more awardees than required by the question….No. 9 was definitely not me! Though I would have loved it….Else, I can’t say anymore…
VERDICT: You are free from Alz and dementia. You have a great memory power….do you have it with you personally? Or like me, I use a very large series of memory banks in tandem with my aging real memory…some use clippings from the past as memory aids…Galing! Lots of hugssss and hope to see you one day soon.

Dear Ed,
Thank you. I told you the right answers when you called me, right? I should have spent a little more time, thinking about it instead of answering right away! Sayang, sana may gift ako. Anyway, thanks again and it was really, really nice to hear your voice again. Hope to see you soon.
Men
Ed,
Thank you. Trying really hard to exercise my brain everyday. Pero sometimes, yong simple things nakakalimutan ko. Paminsan-minsan lang. Yabang, ano?

Hi Toti,
Iyong ibang questions hindi ko rin alam, kasi magkaklase tayo sa Daet Elementary, 'di ba? But I think you were our Valedictorian in DES, isn't it?
Danny
yes, danny we were classmates in Daet Elementary School. Attached is our grade 6 picture, but you're not here. maybe you were absent! see if you can recognize our former classmates. Nestor Chavez is on the top row, first on the right. He was our classmate in DPS.
toti
Toti,
Akala ko ako lang and nag-x sa pictures, ikaw din pala. You know what? Think I recognized two of our classmates in Grade I: Annabelle Abraham and Corazon delos Reyes. Tama ba?
Men
yes men, you're right about Annabelle and Azon, and about the X, haha!
wow! in real time, you're also in front of your computer now.
toti
Hi Toti and Men,
I'm also in front of my computer and I can't remember why I was not in it. You might be right, nagbulakbol siguro ako that time. I spoke to Larry Ong when I was in Manila. Merla is in Chicago. Floyd dela Cruz is in Dallas, Texas. I still can name most of the boys. But the girls, except for Anabelle, Corazon, Elsie Morales, Mildred Bombase, Tess (?) Suzara, Virgie Ramos, Virginia dela Rosa and Elsa (wife of Felix Abogado). How's my memory? Do you want me to name the boys?
Danny
Dear Danny,
Who's Virgie Ramos? It's Virginia Olivar. The boys - Dante Aguilar, Ato Estrada, Cesar Paita, Romeo Asis, my cousin Didoy, Florentino Apo (?), Mariano Balce, Ernesto Gonzales, Poldo Nagera (is it true that he has passed away?), Larry Ong, Arturo Aspe, Manuel Villaluz, Ricardo Factor, Floyd, Jaime Salazar, _____ can't remember..., romulo asis, and nestor chavez. Class adviser was Mr. Basilio Tondo. Miss Pato was the adviser only only for the Library club.
The girls, aside from those you've mentioned are Julia Dagatan, Loreta
....., Evelyn Cabezudo, Luz (not Tess) Suzara, Milagros Abogado.
There are two others, I can't remember.
toti
Toti and Danny,
Who are these guys you're talking about? Are they from DES or DPS? Hindi yata familiar sa akin ang mga names.
I feel so awful about answering the reunion trivias. I wasn't sure of most of my answers except for a few. I think I had a mental blackout of my high school days. It is only now that I am beginning to recall these floks and events. I'm so embarrassed! Pasensiya na. I had an early onset of Alzheimers.
Hugs and kisses to all, lalo na sa mga available na men. Just kidding. He-heh-he.
Fechie
Dear Toti and Danny,
I know I did not go to Daet Elementary, but I recognized Florentino Apo, Mariano Balce, Arturo Aspe - there were classmates from Mabini (3rd Year), Evelyn Cabezudo was from Daet Parochial. Toti, the ones you did not recognize were Anabelle Abraham and Azon delos Reyes - our Grade ! classmates. Wow, ang galing ng memory natin!
Men
Wow, Men! Not only are you the external archives of DPS '67 but internal as well. You are amazing. Pati yong hindi taga Parochial kilala mo rin!
Best regards.
Fechie
Dear Fechie,
Thank you. Like I said I spent one year at Mabini Colleges -when I was in 3rd Year. These guys that I mentioned were clasmates from there. Huwag mo na akong tanungin tungkol sa mga taga Camarines Norte High School and Heroes Memorial - wala akong kilala doon.
Hugs,
Men
Dear Toti,
Now I remember, you are right, it's Olivar not Ramos. Vicente Cheng is the one next to Jaime. and the other teacher is Ms. Ramores. I will send you Larry Ong's e-mail address next time.
Fetchie - when Ed came out with the trivia - Toti wanted to test my memory by coming out of an even older photo to identify. Not to mention that I think both me and Toti are proud to say that at one point in our developmental stage of life, we were part of the Public School system in the Philippines that is now being attacked for being a contributory factor why Philippine education is going to the dogs - wow my being an activist is coming out. Anyway, don't forget to take pictures of the reunion. And when you have it developed, please send me a copy of each. I will just see you there in California one of these days.
Men (Insan) - Bilib din ako sa memory mo. Even those people you got associated with briefly, you still remember. I hope your boss will allow you to go home for the reunion.
Danny

Back to the trivia…not all Dan’s answers are right…and he left some blanks….so the challenge is still open….
