Welcome Rey!

Welcome to our blog, Rey Rafer.

Thanks for calling me up yesterday from Vancouver, Canada and for spending 29 minutes to get updated about us, and likewise to provide updates about himself and his family.

Rey and his family left for Canada in 1997. His wife is from Camarines Sur, where he spent most of his working age in the Philippines. They have one kid, who's already a graduate and is now working in Canada. Like Marynat, he also worked with the Commission on Audit, longer than his stay with the Dept of Public Works and Highways. Sorry, I have forgotten that when I was assigned in the Regional Office of the Dept of Agrarian Reform in Legaspi City, Rey came to visit me.

Rey has visited our blog and read the posts and seen the pictures. But he's not a member yet of our e-group. He gave me his email address yesterday, but I guess I have a poor hearing. I sent an email Rey to the address: dodoy@pelus.net but it bounced back. So I must have gotten the wrong address.

so, please send an email to my address: gold50@gmail.com so I can include you in our egroup.

Again, welcome Rey, it was good to hear from you, and we hope to see your posts and pictures in the web.

Regards to your family.

Hi Rey,

This is all I have been waiting for, that you be connected with our group. This is Marynat Dasco Del Rosario. . .. . . How are you my friend? Wayback in our high school days, I used to wait for the bus coming from Vinzon in order to check if you and Alot were present on that day. Alot was a good listener to may stories then while you were a joker. "Felt happy when I talked to you coz u have a sense of humor. "Sayang I was not able to see you when you were here in Manila". Anyway, hope you can attend our "Class Reunion" in July 2010.

Did you also work in the Commission on Audit? What office were you assigned? At present, I am connected with the Commission on Audit assigned as Resident Auditor of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Hope you send your messages often. . .. . daily, so we have something to read, hehehe. . . Regards to your family and take care of your health always.

Ingat,

Marynat

Hello Rey,
Our class finally heard from you. You've been talked about (good things of course!) lots of occasions but never seen. Now, you're a step closer to the group again. Hopefully, we see you at the next reunion in 2010.
Pilyo ka pa rin ba? Or nag mellow ka na in your senior years? I can still remember at our earlieir (?20th) year reunion, you were fliriting with your hi-school crush, remember? He-he-he.
Really glad to hear from you.
See you soon and God bless.

Hi Marynat,

Yes I was employed with COA since May 1981 to 1993. I was with Technical Service as a Sr. Tech. Audit Specialist. We were the field men of the Auditors, for they do not know the technical aspects of the projects undertaken by the government. I was assigned to COA Reg V, Legazpi city. Mahirap kasi it's far from my residence which is Naga city. But mostly my assignments are in Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte. Nalibot ko ang buong Bicol hanggang sa kasuloksulokan na lugar.

I know Juanito G. Espino Jr., former Director now Commissioner of COA. I was his sponsor when he knocked on the door of Freemasonry. You may ask him if he still knows me. We saw each other here in Vancouver last 1998, when he came to visit his family who are residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

How about you? How long have been with COA?
Regards to the family.

Dear Rey,

Marynat is right about your sense of humor during our high school
days.... and you have retained it. I enjoyed reading your email
especially about your personal updates. I'll update the directory
accordingly. Meanwhile, we're still waiting for the pictures. Let's see if it's true that you still have 95% of your hair, as you've said. Inggit ko lang, lalo na si Danny. At ok ka 3 addresses, tatlong bahay - walang problema ang pagbakasyon sa bicol. Dapat, kumuha ka rin sa Manila para kumpleto.

You and Ed have something in common, you both love Gloria, samantalang karamihan dito, minumura si Gloria (Arroyo naman, yun.)

Now, that you're in the loop, continue sending messages para masaya.

Regards.
